The much talented ‘American Idol’ contestant, singer, song writer and actress Katherine McPhee landed her gorgeous looks to the June 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.

The ‘smash’ star donned designer threads from Prabal Gurung, Zana Bayne, Gianvito Rossi etc. for Nicola Moore shot. With the photo-shoot, she got engaged in a brief Q&A session where she answered queries about her glamorous job and overnight success being a myth.

The sensual diva had recently spotted in a spring avatar at the Met Gala 2012. In her fully embroidered deep square neckline and belted Elie Saab gown which she teamed with gold earrings, cuff and a cocktail diamond ring, Katharine looked every inch a Grecian beauty.

In her conversation with Glamour magazine, she told that when she headed to Idol, all she knew was that it was the voice and not the look that was required to reach that level.

And after Idol she spent almost five to six years just plugging away, auditioning for many things to get the work done. She told the mag. that she met Steven Spielberg who had her in mind for Smash but it took time for projects to develop because the hardest part of the job is getting the job.
